- All The Entertainment You Can Can Handle!
We're continuing our commitment to offer you the best in-suite entertainment options available, as always, free of charge. In addition to our complimentary in-suite DVD players, we've now also added Rogers Digital Cable which includes 100s of channels of rich programming,
including sports, news, specialty channels, and streaming music. Our offering also features 8
channels of free streaming movies, including the Movie Network and MoviePix. You can watch
what you want, exactly when you want with an array of on demand movies and rich content at no
charge with the push of a button (e.g., National Geographic, HGTV, Food Network, etc.).
- Keeping You Connected (Even Faster Internet)
We've provided our guests with free high speed Internet for 10 years. We've now upgraded our Internet connection to provide you with even faster high speed Internet access from Rogers. We've also added a speedy, secure and reliable Cisco wireless network to complement our great wired high speed network ... as always, access is free of charge. Behind the scenes we've also upgraded our entire network with Cisco hardware along with Dell & Apple servers to ensure that our connectivity is more reliable and secure than ever.
- A Safer, More Secure Stay
Our suites and common areas have all been equipped with new electronic door locks for your added security. With your suite key, you can securely access the inner lobby, the gym, parking areas and your suite. In the event of a lost key, you can notify the front desk and we can cancel your previous key and issue a new key in minutes, thus increasing your security.
Our parking lot lighting has been significantly increased providing you greater visibility and security! We have also upgraded our cameras and surveillance systems to further enhance on-site safety. We continue to have 24/7 front desk staff available for your convenience and security.
- Comfort, Here and Home
Our goal is to achieve or surpass the comfort of your home with the convenience of your office! We don't rest until you do! We have enhanced our bedding and linens to ensure your comfort. Our top quality luxurious bed toppers and covers are perfect for those who want an extra soft, yet supportive and body-contoured layer between themselves and their mattress. Wake up rested and relaxed. All of our suites have both micro-fiber pillows and duck down & feather pillows for all preferences. We also pass on our beddings/linens at wholesale prices to our valued guests as part of our B.I.G. Comfort program. Recent upgrades to our bathroom linens and shower curtains also ensure that you get a fresh and comfortable start to your day. Our block-out curtains provide total darkness for sleeping.
- More Conveniences Than Ever
We have recently upgraded our suites with brand new appliances. With efforts to make your kitchen more like home, we have added CorningWare casserole dishes and baking sheets to the already well equipped pots and pans, cutlery, kitchen utensils and of course, microwaves for easy meals. We have also installed full length mirrors and other fixtures to make our suites more convenient than ever. All of our suites now include steamers and upgraded irons/boards in order to easily remove wrinkles in a pinch and minimize dry cleaning needs. We have also recently upgraded the washers and dryers in our convenient on-site laundry facilities, which as always remain free of charge (including laundry detergent).
- We're Getting Greener
We want to do our part to make our world a greener place. We have implemented energy saving compact florescent bulbs in all the suites as part of our growing initiative to make the hotel greener. Our Hotel Laundry is cleaned using environmentally safe detergent, and we have also added a Recycle program in our meeting rooms. We participate in Earth Day and do our best to ensure that energy is not wasted.
In addition to the above improvements, we are constantly adhering to a preventive maintenance schedule, staying ahead, and doing regular repairs and upgrades. We recently upgraded our lobby and elevators. We have also replaced bathroom fans with new quieter ones, replaced carpets in most suites and each year have our balconies renovated following the winter months. Our parking garage gets professionally cleaned quarterly. On August 1, 2008, The Business Inn went completely Smoke-Free!
