Frequently Asked Questions

  • Check-in time starts at 4:00 pm and check-out time is 11:00 am. We make every effort to accommodate late check-out and early check-in. Please contact us as soon as possible if you require a late check-out or an early check-in.

  • Parking is $25. + HST per night on a first-come, first-served basis. Parking includes in-and-out privileges. We have over 100 spots in our underground and outdoor lots. In the unlikely event that we do not have on-site parking available, we will provide free parking to our guests in our own sister lot, only 200 meters away, and we also provide with a $10 credit ($8.85 + $1.15 HST) we have several on site check-in/out spots available.

  • Upon check-in, guests need to provide photo ID and a bank issued credit card for a pre-authorization of $100 for security. For room payment, we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Interac debit cards and cash. We do not accept personal cheques.   • The Business Inn is fitted with extremely efficient soundproof windows. There are also many suites in the hotel that face away from Elgin Street and/or are high above street level. We also provide white noise machines in every suite.

    The combination of air conditioning/heating and soundproofing and white noise machine means that you will sleep peacefully.

  • Rates are based on double occupancy. A charge of $10.00 plus taxes per person applies to nightly rates for additional adults over two (excluding 2 children, 12 years of age or under, staying with a parent). The maximum occupancy per suite is either two or four adults depending on the type of the suite. For more information see our rate policies page.

  • We have a Fitness Centre located on the 2nd floor that is open 24 hours. Read more about our Fitness Centre here.

  • Each suite has a small business center with a laser printer and computer, complete with Windows 7, Microsoft Office, and wired Internet access plus high-speed wireless Internet access.

  • Definitely. Children 12 years of age and under stay free of charge with their parents. We recommend our Signature Suite, which features a queen size sofa bed.

  • High chairs, as well as playpens which double as a crib, are available on request and free of charge.

  • Several of our suites are able to accommodate a wheelchair, however only two of our suites are formally designated as wheelchair accessible with wheelchair accessible showers.

  • Parking privileges are from check-in at 4:00 PM to check-out.

  • We welcome service animals. However, we are not pet-friendly for other animals.

  • Yes, bus stops are just 1 minute away from the hotel.

  • Yes, our building entrance is secured after hours for the safety of our guests.

  • Yes, a corner grocery store is immediately across the street. There is a supermarket just 8 minute walk from the hotel.

  • Yes, there is a pharmacy just 1 block away.

  • No, we do not have a pool. However, there is a heated indoor public swimming pool across the street at the jack Purcell Community Centre.

  • We provide a complimentary deluxe continental breakfast every morning from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM with a wide variety of choices. Guests are welcome to enjoy their breakfast in any of our two breakfast rooms or the comfort of their room with a full kitchen and/or to choose a convenient grab-and-go bag .
